Social posting, autopilot and comment bot

Manage connected accounts, prepare posts, verify delivery per platform and configure the comment-reply bot.

Before you start

Have permission to publish to each selected account. Review OAuth consent, platform-specific limits and plan availability. Keep app passwords and access tokens in private connection forms.

Step by step: connect and draft

  1. Open Social and inspect Connected Accounts.
  2. Connect only the intended platform/account. Complete any page/account selection step and verify the displayed identity.
  3. Open the composer and select the destination platforms.
  4. Enter the caption or use Generate content, then review the generated claims and language.
  5. Add media from your own files or Media Library. Check the preview for each platform.
  6. Complete platform settings shown, such as board selection, video title, privacy and content disclosures. Do not assume one platform's settings apply to another.
  7. Use Save Draft if it is not approved for publication.

Step by step: publish, schedule and inspect

  1. For immediate delivery, use Publish Now only after reviewing selected accounts.
  2. For later delivery, choose the scheduled time and use Add Scheduled. Confirm the time displayed in the queue.
  3. Return to posts, inspect the post preview and its Deployment log.
  4. Open the published post. Under Comments, press Refresh comments to read live comments. Use Comment on this post or Reply to write as the connected account (Facebook, Instagram, Threads; YouTube and Bluesky support replies). This does not run Comment Bot.
  5. Open the published post on the provider to confirm it exists and has the expected media/text.
  6. For partial failures, correct the cause and retry failed platforms only.
  7. Use analytics to inspect available performance data after publication.

Autopilot

Open auto-pilot only if your plan allows it. Review generation inputs, account targets and scheduling controls before enabling automated publishing. Start with a small reviewed run and check the actual provider post. AI creatives and autopilot may have separate plan or usage limits.

Comment Bot

Comment Bot is an inbox for comments on posts published through SmartLinks, and for inbound WhatsApp and Telegram messages. Reply yourself from the inbox, or turn the bot on to auto-reply. On the main suite it is a sidebar page at /apps/{app}/social/comment-bot. On social.smartlinks.live it is the comment bot tab (also /comment-bot).

  1. Connect posting accounts on Social Posting (or the posts tab on social.smartlinks) first. On Comment Bot, press Connect WhatsApp or Connect Telegram. For Telegram, open BotFather, send /newbot, and paste the token (group/channel: add the bot as admin and paste the @username too). The connected number or bot appears under Accounts; use Remove to disconnect WhatsApp or Telegram from this page.
  2. Open Comment Bot. The Inbox lists comments and messages per connected platform even if the bot is Off. Use Send reply to answer yourself.
  3. Select Accounts. Supported today: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Bluesky, Threads, WhatsApp, Telegram. TikTok shows Coming soon.
  4. Fill What the bot knows: About the business, Products & prices, and Instant answers (FAQ). Import a CSV/JSON dataset or upload knowledge documents (.txt, .md, .pdf) for extra AI context.
  5. Choose Reply mode: Auto-reply — post replies immediately or Review — save drafts for my approval.
  6. To auto-reply, turn Bot status On and press Save bot settings. Off still fills the inbox.
  7. Press Check comments now to pull comments immediately, or wait for the 5-minute poll. Telegram and WhatsApp arrive via webhook whether the bot is On or Off (they will not show from Check comments now). On a 555 test number, add your personal WhatsApp as a recipient in Meta’s WhatsApp API Setup.
  8. For review-mode drafts, edit if needed, then Approve & post or Discard.

Sending replies and auto-reply are a premium automation, like Auto-Pilot: you can see the inbox and fill the form on a free plan, but posting needs a paid plan. Facebook, Instagram, and Threads accounts connected before comment permissions shipped may show Reconnect to grant comment permissions.

Confirm it worked

Each intended platform has its own successful delivery result and public/private provider post as configured. A scheduled queue entry or local status alone is not proof of publication.

Troubleshooting

Reauthorize expired connections and check media/character restrictions. Delete Everywhere can remove provider posts; use cancellation for a pending schedule when that is your intent, not broad deletion.
