1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how alkashier collects, uses, discloses, and protects information gathered through our mobile application, SmartLINK Console (the "App"). SmartLINK Console is designed for professional mobile app developers and growth teams (aged 18 and older). We are committed to processing personal data responsibly and in compliance with applicable data privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA).

2. Data We Collect

We collect limited technical and operational data to deliver, analyze, improve, and monetize the App. The data collected consists of:

Account Data (Optional): If you choose to sign in using your email address instead of the default scoped API key authentication, we collect your email address. If you use the default scoped API key, no account email is associated with your app instance.
Device and Technical Identifiers: A per-install device identifier generated for analytics and attribution, as well as standard advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA).
Product Interaction and Usage Data: Information regarding feature interaction, button taps, session durations, and general in-app usage patterns.
Crash Diagnostics: Technical crash reports and system state data generated when an anomaly occurs. Crash reports are sent directly to the proprietary SmartLinks backend for diagnosis and are not routed through third-party crash report providers (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics is not used).
Approximate Location Data: Country and city-level location derived server-side from your IP address. The App itself never reads hardware location sensors (GPS, Wi-Fi scanning) and requests no location permissions from your operating system.

3. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We integrate exactly two third-party SDKs within SmartLINK Console:

SmartLinks SDK: Used for deep-link attribution, product analytics, and crash reporting. Data processed via this SDK is transmitted to the SmartLinks infrastructure to maintain App functionality and reliability.
Google AdMob: Used to deliver banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements within the App.

All data transmitted between the App and backend services or SDK endpoints is encrypted in transit using Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS).

4. Advertising and Third-Party Advertising Partners

This App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. To provide advertising, Google and its certified advertising partners may collect, receive, and process certain data from your device, including your device’s advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), IP address, approximate location (country/city), and ad interaction data (such as views, clicks, and engagement events).

A. EEA, UK, and Switzerland Consent Mechanism

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, personalised advertising is presented only after obtaining your explicit consent via Google’s Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF)-certified consent form upon launching the App. You have the right to modify or withdraw your advertising consent at any time through the privacy options available in the App's settings menu.

B. Managing and Resetting Advertising Identifiers

You can control or reset your advertising identifier directly within your mobile device settings:

iOS / iPadOS: Navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking to disable permission for apps to track you, or toggle off personalized ads under Apple Advertising.
Android: Navigate to Settings > Privacy > Ads (or Settings > Google > Ads) to delete or reset your Advertising ID.

5. How We Use Your Data

We process collected data for the following lawful business purposes:

Providing, operating, and maintaining the functionality of SmartLINK Console;
Analyzing usage trends, feature adoption, and performance metrics;
Diagnosing technical issues, resolving bugs, and improving application stability;
Serving contextual or personalized advertisements through Google AdMob (subject to applicable consent requirements);
Enforcing security and protecting against fraudulent or unauthorized activity.

Except for the optional user email address, collected data is not linked to your real-world identity and is not used by alkashier to track you across unrelated apps or websites owned by other companies.

6. Data Deletion Requests

You have the right to request the deletion of any personal data collected about you (such as your account email or stored per-install identifiers).

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected identifiers (device ID, advertising ID, IP address, optional email), commercial/usage activity (interaction data, crash diagnostics), and geolocation data (approximate country/city derived from IP).

B. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

Because SmartLINK Console displays advertisements served via third-party ad networks, the disclosure of advertising identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location, and ad interaction data to Google AdMob and its advertising partners MAY CONSTITUTE A "SALE" OR "SHARING" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law.

C. Your California Rights and How to Opt-Out

California residents have the following rights:

Right to Know / Access: Request disclosure of personal information collected, sold, or shared.
Right to Delete: Request erasure of personal information held by us.
Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale / Sharing: You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.

9. Children's Privacy

SmartLINK Console is strictly intended for a professional audience of mobile developers and growth teams aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). If we discover that a child under the applicable legal age has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to remove such data from our systems.
