Welcome to NotaryDesk. Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the NotaryDesk mobile application (the "Service") operated by alkashier ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Service & Legal Disclaimer

NotaryDesk is designed exclusively as an administrative organizer for independent notaries. NotaryDesk is NOT a statutory notarial journal, legal service, identity verification provider, or a replacement for local compliance, legal, or statutory record-keeping requirements.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• You remain solely responsible for complying with all applicable state, provincial, national, and local laws, regulations, and statutory obligations governing notarial acts and journal maintenance in your jurisdiction.
• The Service operates strictly as an organizational tool and does not provide legal advice, identity verification, or official notary authentication services.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

2. User Accounts & Data Management

When you create an account or use our Service, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account or access to our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.

Data Storage and Reset: The Service operates primarily with local data processing. Users may clear local app data at any time via the app's Settings menu. You are solely responsible for backing up any critical data, logs, or records.

3. Third-Party Advertising & In-App Purchases

The Service is provided free of charge and is supported by third-party advertising served through Google AdMob and its partners. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Advertisements are served by Google and its advertising partners.
• We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, practices, products, or services of third-party advertisers or websites.
• Any transactions, interactions, or engagements you enter into with third-party advertisers found on or through the Service are solely between you and the third party.

Optional in-app purchases, analytics, and advertising choices adhere to standard platform consent and disclosure requirements established by the applicable app distribution stores (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store).

4. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, functionality, software code, UI designs, graphics, and branding are and will remain the exclusive property of alkashier and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of alkashier.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Service:

• In any way that violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
• To reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
• To impersonate or attempt to impersonate alkashier, a company employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
• To interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Service or the networks or services connected to the Service.
• To introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall alkashier, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
• Any conduct or content of any third party on or accessed through the Service;
• Any failure to meet statutory or local legal compliance requirements governing your notary practice; or
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which alkashier operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiations between you and alkashier. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within thirty (30) days, it shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with applicable commercial arbitration rules.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
