This Privacy Policy describes how alkashier ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the mobile application named BabySync (the "App").

We take your privacy and the protection of your personal and family data very seriously. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using BabySync, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

1. Target Audience & Children's Privacy

BabySync is designed exclusively for use by adult parents, legal guardians, and adult caregivers to track infant care routines. The App is not directed to or intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union / European Economic Area).

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information directly from children. Information regarding infants (such as a first name and routine care logs) is entered solely by adult users. 2. Information We Collect

We strive to collect only the minimum amount of data necessary to provide and support the core functionality of the App.

A. Information You Provide Directly

• Care Logs and Profile Data: Baby's first name, optional parent/caregiver display name (e.g., "Mom", "Dad", "Nanny"), and care activities including feeding, diaper changes, and sleep timestamps.

B. Information Collected Automatically & Third-Party Integrations

We do not collect your email address, phone number, physical location, contacts, or photos. However, to maintain and support the App, certain information is processed automatically through integrated third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication: We utilize anonymous authentication. No personal credentials (such as email addresses, passwords, or social login credentials) are collected or stored for authentication.
• Cloud Firestore: Used as our cloud database to store baby first names, parent display names, and care logs to sync across devices seamlessly.
• Google AdMob: We show banner advertisements within the App using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process device identifiers, such as the Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS or GAID on Android), IP address, and app usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements.
• SmartLinks SDK: Used for analytics event tracking, deep linking functionality, and purchase verification.
• In-App Purchases (Apple App Store / Google Play Store): We offer a one-time in-app purchase ($3.99) to unlock PDF export functionality. All payment processing is managed directly by Apple or Google. We do not receive, store, or process your credit card or financial payment details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, and maintain the primary features of the App (e.g., tracking feeding, diaper changes, and sleep logs).
• To process and verify one-time in-app purchases.
• To serve advertising via Google AdMob.
• To analyze app performance, user engagement, and troubleshoot technical issues via SmartLinks SDK and Firebase.
• To ensure compliance with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Compliance)

If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal basis for collecting and using the information described above depends on the specific data concerned and the context in which we collect it:

• Contractual Necessity: Processing care logs and anonymous auth tokens is necessary to perform our contract with you to provide the App's service.
• Legitimate Interests: Processing telemetry, analytics data via SmartLinks SDK, and delivering ads via Google AdMob is based on our legitimate interest in supporting, monetizing, and improving our App, provided these interests are not overridden by your data protection rights.
• Consent: Where required by law (e.g., for personalized advertising in certain jurisdictions), we process data based on your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

5. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information for money. As described in the Advertising section, sharing advertising identifiers with our advertising partners may nonetheless constitute a "sale" or "share" for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law, and you may opt out at any time. We only share information with third-party service providers bound by strict confidentiality and privacy standards to facilitate App functionality:

• SmartLinks: For deep-linking, purchase verification, and app analytics.
• Apple Inc. / Google LLC: For processing in-app purchase billing transactions.

6. Data Storage & International Data Transfers

Information stored via Firebase Cloud Firestore may be processed and stored on servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction, including in the United States. We implement appropriate legal and technical safeguards to ensure that your data receives an adequate level of protection wherever it is processed.

7. Data Deletion Requests & Your Privacy Rights

We respect your privacy rights regarding your data. Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to access, request a copy of, correct, or request the complete deletion of your data.

8. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) Disclosures

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information:

• Right to Know: You may request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal data we have collected about you in the preceding 12 months.

We enforce technical, administrative, and physical security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. Despite these safeguards, no wireless transmission or cloud storage system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our legal requirements or operational practices. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy or within the App. Your continued use of BabySync after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
