Welcome to TailTransit, an application operated by alkashier ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using TailTransit (the "Service" or "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Overview and Account Usage

TailTransit is designed for pet owners to assist with pet travel planning and information reference. Account registration and mandatory login are not required to access the basic functionality of the App. All core user data and locally created documents remain solely on your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share them.

2. Medical and Travel Disclaimer

TailTransit is provided for informational and planning purposes only.

  • Veterinary & Medical Disclaimer: TailTransit does not provide veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The content available through the App is not a substitute for professional veterinary care. Always seek the advice of a qualified veterinarian regarding your pet's health, vaccination requirements, fitness to travel, or medical conditions.
  • Travel and Compliance Responsibility: Pet travel requirements, customs rules, quarantine guidelines, carrier policies, and legal regulations vary by destination and change frequently. You are solely responsible for verifying and complying with all official rules, documentation, health certificates, and entry criteria with relevant destination authorities, official government bodies, transport carriers, and licensed veterinarians before traveling.

3. SmartLinks AI Feature

The optional SmartLinks AI feature operates on a fail-open model and utilizes an anonymous, per-installation unique identifier (UUID) to function. No personally identifiable user login data is linked to this feature. Usage of SmartLinks AI is subject to service availability, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free outputs from automated queries.

4. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Premium Services

TailTransit offers optional Premium access options (including monthly, yearly, and lifetime purchases) that remove usage limits and advertisements:

  • Billing and Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period through your App Store or Google Play Store account settings.
  • Lifetime Access: Lifetime purchases provide access to Premium features for the operational lifetime of the App.
  • Refunds: All purchases and subscriptions are processed through the official app store platforms (Apple App Store / Google Play Store) and are subject to their respective refund policies.

5. Advertising

The free version of the Service is ad-supported and provided free of charge. Advertisements are served by third-party ad networks, including Google AdMob and its advertising partners. The operator (alkashier) is not responsible or liable for the content, privacy practices, products, or services offered in third-party advertisements or obtained through links contained within such advertisements.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The App, including its software, source code, visual interfaces, designs, graphics, logos, text, and original content, is owned by alkashier and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on any part of the Service.
  • Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
  • Interfere with, disable, or circumvent any security-related features or digital rights management within the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability and "As Is" Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ALKASHIER, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PET HEALTH COMPLICATIONS, TRAVEL DISRUPTIONS, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which alkashier operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof shall be resolved through good faith informal negotiations first. If unresolved, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration or competent courts located in the primary jurisdiction of alkashier.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted within the App or published on our official release channels. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
