Welcome to HomeSchool Ledger ("the App"), operated by alkashier ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using HomeSchool Ledger, you ("User", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Overview and Description of Service

HomeSchool Ledger is designed as a private family education planner and parent-managed learner record organization tool. The App provides features for personal administrative tracking of educational activities.

No Official Claims: HomeSchool Ledger is an administrative tool only. We do not provide educational accreditation, official academic reporting, transcript certification, or legal compliance verification for home education requirements. Parents and legal guardians remain solely responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regional educational regulations and reporting requirements.

2. Privacy & Data Handling

The App is structured around family privacy. There are no public child profiles, social sharing features, or public user-generated content sharing mechanisms. Your data is managed locally on your device and via platform-integrated storage mechanisms.

Data Control: Users can clear local application data at any time via the internal Settings menu within the App.

3. User Accounts & Responsibility

Where account creation or platform login is required or enabled:

• You must be a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult to create an account and manage records.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials associated with the App.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account or device.

4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App may offer optional features, digital items, or subscriptions available for purchase ("In-App Purchases"). All In-App Purchases are processed through the respective mobile platform store (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store) and are subject to the terms, conditions, and billing rules of that platform provider. Consent and disclosures will be presented prior to completion of any purchase.

5. Advertising & Free Service Disclosure

HomeSchool Ledger is provided free of charge and is supported by third-party advertising, specifically Google AdMob and its advertising partners.

• Advertisements served within the App are delivered by Google and its partner networks in compliance with platform consent framework standards.
• Third-Party Content Disclaimer: alkashier is not responsible for the content of any third-party advertisements, nor are we responsible for any products, services, websites, or actions resulting from your interaction with third-party advertisers. Interaction with third-party ads is entirely at your own risk.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in HomeSchool Ledger, including but not limited to software code, design, layout, graphics, text, and trademarks, are owned by or licensed to alkashier. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial family educational management purposes.

7. Prohibited Activities

When using HomeSchool Ledger, you agree not to:

• Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based upon the App.
• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features or digital rights management of the App.
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App to any third party.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As Is")

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, ALKASHIER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT DATA STORED OR RECORDED WILL BE INCAPABLE OF LOSS OR CORRUPTION.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ALKASHIER, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE APP.

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which alkashier is established, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

In the event of any claim, controversy, or dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the App, you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting us. If informal resolution fails, any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the jurisdiction of alkashier's operation.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon publishing the revised Terms within the App or on our official distribution channels. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
